Welcome to Jackson Pathways High School
Jackson Public Schools is committed to the success of all children. Our students are not one size fits all, and to that end we have several different programming options to fill the diverse needs of our students. Jackson Pathways is also equipped with renovated safe and secure entryways.
Jackson Pathways will follow a school within a school model providing nontraditional classroom experiences to students who, for a variety of reasons, have struggled to be successful in the traditional classroom.
It is the fundamental goal of the Jackson Pathways program to provide the soft skills necessary to be successful in the workforce or college with an independent career track, exposure, and experience for each child to build the bridge between the learning taking place in the classroom and the workforce.

Good evening Viking families!
This is Mr. Zessin with this week’s high school announcements.
Calling all Dads, Grandpas, Uncles and Male Guardians of our students at Jackson High, Jackson Pathways, Middle School at Parkside and Fourth Street Learning Center! We hope you can join us for our Chili & Chill For Dads Event at The Martin Luther King Center on Adrian Ct. on Wednesday, December 11th from 5:30-7:30 pm. Please see the attached flyer for more information and how to RSVP for the event. See you there!
Just a reminder that our day begins at 7:20am with doors opening at 7:00am. Students who have a pattern of being late to school and classes without a medical excuse will be referred to our attendance coordinator for further review. After 7:35am, students are only allowed to exit and enter the building via the Welcome Center.
Cell phones and headphones are to be kept off and away while students are in class. Coats and backpacks including totes and purses are to be kept in lockers during the day. Please remind your young person of these very important JHS policies.
To learn more about what is happening at the high school, check out the Weekly Newsletter (https://www.smore.com/u8m19) The newsletter is frequently updated throughout the week, as well as posts to our social media page and app.
We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow! Wishing you a great evening! It is a great day to be a Viking!

Our high school community closet is a place where students can donate and receive essential items such as food, clothing, school supplies, and toiletries. It is meant to help students who may not have access to these items or may be experiencing financial difficulties. This initiative promotes a sense of community and support among students. It is open each week during lunches to all high school students.
